If you want to stay out: stroll through the historic center, discovering shops and views at your own pace, or take the car and reach some of our favorite places in less than an hour.
If you want to stay in: enjoy a long breakfast, tea in the living room, a break in your room, and enjoy the silence.
If you want to mix it up: take a short outing and then come back, without ever having to take the car.

OUR FAVORITE PLACES

For wine lovers:
Montefalco, just 45 minutes from us. This is where Umbria's only native grape, Sagrantino, comes from. Suggested wineries: Cantina Caprai (who made Sagrantino famous worldwide); Tenuta Castelbuono (winery featuring a sculpture by artist Arnaldo Pomodoro); Cantina Bea (a historic producer of artisanal natural wine).

Nature and Good Food: Castelluccio Plateau, just 25 minutes from Norcia, at 1,500 meters above sea level, the largest karst plateau in Europe, where they grow—in our opinion—the best lentil in the world after our own.

THEN WELLNESS: ENDING THE DAY THE RIGHT WAY

After dining, wellness is the natural progression: sauna, Turkish bath, experience showers, and foot bath. You don't need to "do a lot": just do it well. And then in the evening, enjoy the silence of the village to rest.
